What access will you need to my site(s)?

In order to provide proper maintenance support, we will need full admin logins to the backend of your website along with FTP logins. In addition depending on the type of maintenance service requested we may need access to the cPanel and DNS management.

Do you manage websites that you did not build?

Yes we will manage a WordPress site even if we did not build it once it's migrated to our platform.

What maintenance is recommended?

There are some important things which should be done regularly to ensure proper security and usability of your website. You want to regularly monitor your traffic and make sure there is no malicious traffic to your site, make sure themes and plugins are updated regularly, and if you're not using a premium backup service then you need to routinely backup your site as all your hard work could be lost if your site is compromised.

Is ongoing maintenance important for my website?

Most small WordPress sites do not require a large amount of maintenance. However, in general you want to keep your website fresh and secure as those are the sites that typically receive more traffic. When you work with us to design and build a new website we will help provide information about what kind of ongoing maintenance would be important. We can help train you to maintain your site yourself or you can utilize our services if you'd prefer to focus your time on building your content.

Will you help maintain my site for me?

We hope our relationship does not end once we publish your website. We provide optional on-going support which can be regular monthly support or only help as needed. If you prefer to be hands on we can show you how to easily add or change content on your existing sites. If you need any additional assistance we can work with you to put together a support solution to meet your requirements.
